Serious decision to make....please help.
Ava turned 3 in July, and we started ttc. We have not been successful. I got a full check up at my PC Doc and OB/Gyn, and they say all is well. However, I will turn 35 in January.
Here is where I need to make my decision. Should I continue to ttc, or should I wait until next year.
If I get pg now, and I want to continue to work 3 days a week, I will be paying 3/4 of my paycheck to daycare. I do not NEED to work right now, financially we are o.k. However, I went back to work in Feb after being a SAHM for 2 1/2 years, and am sooo much happier working 3 days. DD goes to daycare 5 hours a day.
If I put off ttc until next year, by the time I have baby #2, Ava would be in kindergarten full time and I would only have to pay daycare for one.
Should I wait one more year???
Will a 5 year age gap be tooo much??
Will I want to get back into baby mode after all that time?
If I wait another year, I will be another year older, raising my chances for birth defects, and lowering my chances of conceiving.
HELP!!!!

Honestly (and I don't have any DC but dealing with IF right now) I'd keep trying now. God forbid you wait and then you have a problem a year from now, and next thing you know your DD is 7 or older before you conceive. You can make things work no matter what. Good luck whatever you decide!

I agree, and your personal happiness is worth something, no?
Even if you pay 3/4 of your paycheck to daycare, it gets you out of the house and enjoying your life as well.

If it were me, I'd go ahead and start TTC. You only know what's best for you and what you'll be happy with. We want to TTC#3 but have to wait unfortunately, but what I'm concerned with is that I have severe Endo and I don't know if and when I'll be able to conceive so for me it's out of my control. I'm beyond upset and sad that we can't TTC #3 soon. I'm worried that I won't be able to have another baby!  God forbid you experience some kind of "problems" you may not know about and then you wait and things may only get worse or it takes longer you'll be upset with yourself. As you get older it can get harder to conceive.
Like I said if it were me I'd go ahead and TTC but that's looking from my situation. I didn't know I had Endo until right before I got PG with DS #2. Good luck! You'll make the right decision!

As someone who planned their first pregnancy and then m/c'd, I wouldn't wait. Unfortunately, you never know what the future holds!
