When did your DC roll over for the first time?
just wondering-DD is 3.5 months and sleeps a lot so she is swaddled a lot or in her infant carrier during the day while we're out and about. i feel like she has little opportunity to get ready to roll and haven't seen any signs of it yet. TIA for your responses!

Re: When did your DC roll over for the first time?
4 months, exactly and that was due to more tummy time...which for a while she hated!
  She like it now

Re: When did your DC roll over for the first time?
DS was 3 months 5 days old the first time I saw him roll over from his back onto his tummy. He shocked himself, it was really cute.
ETA: DS hates tummy time, he is so anxious to get going that it frustrates him, he just turned 4 months old and is now begining to crawl.

Re: When did your DC roll over for the first time?
DS rolled over on Sunday for the first time from back to belly!! 5 1/2 months.
He rolled from belly to back at 2 months when he would prop himself up with his head high, but ped said that kind of roll is mostly due to momentum from his top-heavy head tipping him over!!

3 weeks old, he would go from belly to back. It only lasted a week, it was a fluke.
He started both ways all the time at around 4 months. He was really lazy. Just wanted to be held all the time.

Re: When did your DC roll over for the first time?
DS was about 4 months, back to belly. I think he was about 6 or 7 months from belly to back.

Same here. He'd did it for a couple of weeks in my cse but then he gained alot of weight and I guess he couldn't handle it so he stopped. He just recently started to push himself again. He has actually rolled all the way over 2 times since last week.

Re: When did your DC roll over for the first time?
DD rolled at 11 weeks - BUT her ped said that was very early and most kids these days don't roll over for a while since they don't do as much tummy time these days.
