Need help with feeding cereal
My DS is 4 1/2 months old. I got the OK to start ceral with my DS. I was so excited to start because I figured he'd definitly sleep though the night now. Well everytime I feed it to him he screams and then gags. I have been trying to feed him 1 TBSP mixed with 3 to 4 TBSP of B Milk. HELP!!!
I didn't have this problem with my other 2. Any suggestions? i don't wantto start veggies yet until he has the cereal thing down if possible. TIA!!

Maybe it's his way of telling you he isn't ready. I would try again in a week or so

Re: Need help with feeding cereal
I just started cereal last night with my DS (4 mos). I fed her the bottle first (the ususal amount minus 1 oz). Then when she was finished, I mixed 1 oz of formula with the cereal to make a watery mixture. She did pretty good for the first time. Tonight, I tried to give her the cereal first, but she resisted, so I did the bottle first, again & she was fine. Try giving the bottle first.

I would try making it thicker. DS didn't like it too watery, but he gobbled it up when it was thicker.
