Well, now they're saying that Brit's performance $ucked because of Silverman's comments about her children. Brit was so upset by her comment...that why she just did the performance the way she did and walked off the stage furious.
I think that's just an excuse though...you gotta blame it on something.
But Sarah came on AFTER Brit???
I know that's what I was thinking too!?!?
I read something like...Sara was going over her monologue and Brit found out that her kids were going to be mentioned....that's why she had a bad performance..

That's a weak excuse!! The truth is - it looks like in the first few moments of her performance Britney didn't get the reception she expected, or maybe saw someone making a face or something - whatever it was, it totally threw her off her game...
Or she was on drugs

I did watch Britney, but shut it off after that. I don't listen to any of that music (top 40 or hip hop/rap), so I wouldn't know who 98% of these artists are. I used to love this show back when there were decent artists around. Maybe Im just getting old.

i kinda liked the way they set up the hotel parties- the artists were playing in their element and much more like they would at one of their own concerts- and i liked how they mixed different artists together. i would have loved to be at the southern hospitality party!
but the rest of the show was a mess. i was back and forth with watching it after the first hour.

I seriously stopped watching it after I graduated college...sort of "grew out" of it...
SAme here.
I can now relate to my Grandma back-in-the-day... I don't think I've heard of half of these people
As DH's grandma used to say... "You kids today with your Hey-Baby-Yeah-Baby-Whatever-Baby music... oh, you kids today"
As said by Grandma Freida circa late 1970's
