I think my Favorite picture is

Seeing her running to her children with her arms open and the largest Smile on her face.

She loved her boys so!

yeah i remember when they showed that on TV and she just gave them the biggest hugs!!

Re: Princess Diana in Memoriam

she was so pretty, inside and out. She did everything she could for her boys to be "normal"

I was reading an article in People and Will was saying how the Princess would take him and his brother to a fast food hamburger place b/c they wanted to go. She even took them on a bus b/c Will wanted to know what it was like.

Her boys have grown into such fine young men and have all the traits of their mother.

The picture of her and John Travolta was taken at the White House. Diana specifically asked to dance with John Travolta. She knew he was a great dancer and all she wanted was one dance with him. I read that in one of those things you didnt know about the Princess.

I sincerely hope that Prince William marries a woman much like her- Strong willed, graceful, down to earth!

Re: Princess Diana in Memoriam

So sad. I remember I lived in the city at the time but was on LI for a picnic. On our way back in the car, we heard she was in an accident but not that she had died. The next morning my doorman had a newspaper on the counter and I saw the headline that she died. I remember getting up at 4am to watch the funeral in bed. So very tragic.

My step-sister was in a HORRIBLE accident the same day as hers and almost didn't survive, so her accident and death really hit home...I can't believe it has been 10 years. She was a good woman. Chat Icon

The very definition of Class.

Beautiful inside and out.

ITA!! She is THE definition of class, the women in hollywood today should take a lesson from her. What a tragedy.

Re: Princess Diana in Memoriam

I agree about her not being a classic beauty at all, but there was something so beautiful about her! She seemed like a true lady...

But the worst thing about this tragedy was the fact that this woman was a mother to two children who still had a lot of growing up to do. I can not imagine anything worst then loosing your mother at this age, especially a mother like she was, so involved in their lives, so carrying and loving. I remember her sons at the funeral and thinking how lost and alone they will be without her.

Accidental, meaningless death such as this was is always incredibly heartbreaking, but especially so when it makes 2 kids into orphans.
