I've known him for 7 years this December, although we went to the same high school and graduated the same year and I had no idea.
We met at Da Phunky Fish in Bayshore, I believe, when a mutual friend's band played. I saw three old friends from HS, and they were like, "Oh, you remember JT from school, too, don't you?" And I laughed and said, "You didn't go to school with us!" And I think I insulted him
Anyway, he apparently remembered my yearbook quote (something about a naked clown...long story!), so anyway, we hit it off. He told me how he always had a crush on me in HS, and since that night, we've been inseparable

Dh and I met in High School too.
I was dating a friend of his friends- I went to my boyfriends prom and dh was at the table with us.
Then I was at a party at dh's house with my then bf.
When I broke up with that guy other friends set up dh and I- after we started dating he pulled out a pic of me that was taken at his house the night of that party. (I just happened to be in the background).
Anyway, we have been together 13 years, since I was 17.

We've known each other 16 years, we met when I moved here in 10th grade. Next year we will have known each other longer than we didn't know each other. Crazy!

Met DH in grad school.
Didn't think much of him.
In our 2nd year we both got internships at the same company. We because fast friends then and a year after that we started dating.
So we've known each other 10 years, been friends 9 years, dated for 8 years and been married almost 3.

I knew dh for as long as I can remember. I was best friends with his cousin since 1st grade (I'm now 29) We also date about 12yrs ago for a short time and then who would of thought in 2002 I saw him out at a bar and 2yrs later got married and had two kids of our own plus I had a child and he had a child when we met up. So now we're in the Yours, Mine and Ours club

We met 7 years ago. Short story: we met at Meehan's in Huntington. Long story: my roommate was a nurse on the floor where his mom was a patient. She had just passed away  and his friends made him go out a little over a week later (they were trying to cheer him up.) He stopped to say hi to my roommate and we started talking. The rest is history.

I met DH at work almost 5 yrs ago-I worked there part time and was in college and he had just gotten a full time job there. We kept our relationship a secret for awhile and only told people at work after I graduated college and got a full time job elsewhere. It was fun!

We met in HS. We had 3 classes together, and our last names were usually right next to each other when we sat alphabetically.
We've been together for over 18 years. It's pretty amazing that I've spent more of my life WITH DW than without her.....

Last May, it was 10 years for us, married for 5 (we got married on our 5 year dating anniversary). I met him at a party my girlfriend was having. DH was the roommate of my girlfriend's coworker.

This Wednesday will be our 4 year wedding anniversary and 8 year dating anniversary (we got married on our dating ann. too )...we met at Paddy McGees in Island Park Labor Day weekend.

We met about 8 years ago for the first time.....I worked with his dad, so I actually knew both of his parents before I knew him!
He was engaged when i first met him though - and as soon as his engagement broke off, his father started trying to fix us up. He eventually got in touch with me, about a year after we first met...and we've been together ever since.
