at least I know I was not out of line asking DH to tell his mom to get her feet WITH shoes on off our coffee table

I'm kinda old-fashioned in that I don't like when anyone's feet are anywhere near me (unless I'm giving dh a foot massage).
I ESPECIALLY don't want the bottoms of someone's dirty shoes near me or facing up towards me... weird, right?

no! that is not weird. DH feet are different.
