OK! Goes for It with Britney

In a surprising move, OK! Magazine says they're going to show Britney as she really was on the day of her disastrous photo shoot -- the good, the bad and the unbelievably ugly!

In an exclusive statement to TMZ, OK! Editor-in-Chief Sarah Ivens said, "OK! Magazine spent a heartbreaking day with Britney Spears and witnessed first-hand an emotional cry for help that will leave you shocked and sad. This week, on newsstands Friday, the truth will be told."

As TMZ first reported, Britney had a complete and total meltdown during the interview and photo shoot. OK! was faced with a huge decision; to run the horrifying photos as is and risk ruining their relationship with Brit (and potentially her career), or run a sanitized -- and untrue-- article.

In the end, OK! chose journalism over Hollywood. OK! is OK!

Re: OK! Goes for It

You had to know they would run it, risk loosing all that money (you know people will buy it) for Britney, C'Mon, who is she...especially now?

Re: OK! Goes for It

Wow, she is so fragile she had a "total meltdown" during a photoshot/interview?? and what, the magazine just kept snapping away during her emotional outburst? how nice... I guess they would though, what a money maker.

Re: OK! Goes for It

Oh boy! I wonder what her publicists reaction will be?

Re: OK! Goes for It

These are supposedly from the shoot. She does not look like a mess to me.

Re: OK! Goes for It

I look at it this way, it can't be any worse then her interview with Matt Lauer. She was a hot mess in that one. So who knows.

Britney on the cover of OK

Re: OK! Goes for It with Britney

of course they are going to run it - it's a guaranteed best-seller!!

Re: OK! Goes for It with Britney

The cover picture that is posted is actually a very pretty picture of her aside from the big glasses (which I do no like on anybody)....I think it is being blown out of proportion a bit.
