Alzheimer's and dementia.
ITA. My grandmother has parkinsons & dementia, and we suspect alzheimers since she doesn't remember her grandchildren or her deceased husband any more.

The loss off my overall general health.
I'm not looking forward to my joints swelling, walking slower (if walking is even an option), not being able to move quickly, get up off the floor, eyesight going, arthritis kicking in, etc.
I see my parents, who were always so full of energy, always doing things around the house and taking care of us kids. Now they move much slower, can only do so much, and take a slew of pills each day.
It's a b!tch getting old!

losing my husband and being alone. i get very sad when i go to the mall and i see older people sitting there eating by themselves. the thought of that being me or my husband or my parents doing that brings tears to my eyes.

Not being able to use the bathroom by myself.
We visited an elderly relative in a nursing home who told us she was so envious of her roommate because she could use the restroom and didn't have to use a bedpan.
Not being able to feed or clean myself runs a pretty close second.
