I:
make the bed every morning
pay the bills
empty the trash
general straightening up
make lunch for the next day
clear the table
load the dishwasher
empty the dishwasher
Boosh:
cooks every night
laundry
irons
plans all the travel
makes sure we send out all the birthday cards and thank-yous 
I take that back- maybe you should talk to my DH- b/c he doesn't do any of the things that you do- which is why I don't cook, iron or make the bed- I don't have time!

i work 3 days a week, have a 7 minute commute (5 mins, actually, nwo that school is out), and from that list, all i do is write an occasional thank you card, and clean the bathroom and kitchen counters

so do I which is why I don't cook
I used to make dinner when we first moved in together- but then he gets stuck at work till 10pm- so it's every man for himself now
I don't mind- I could get a cleaning lady if I wanted too- but I would rather save the money-
I also run a side business at night- and he has training for his dream of becoming a fighter
so we don't have a normal schedule- but I bet it's nice!

For years I worked 50+ hours a week, cooked meals for 7 everyday of the week, did all the housework, paid all the bills, grocery shopped, dropped off and picked up all the kids, took them all to and from their various activities and loved every minute of it! Some of that time I was taking College classes at night. Whatever works for you and your DH/SO is all that matters.

That's my main reason for wanting a few kids
I do the same thing- except we dont have a cat... so i just talk to the appliances:
Stove- can you please make us some dinner???
Dishes- can youplease do yourselves..
and, while i stand there waiting for the answer, DH usually caves!

Oh see they don't do that for their mom at all....just their aunt. You only get that help from your brother/sisters kids
