I found Heaven!
Last night.
in the form of a MASHED POTATO BAR at the wedding we went to.
Best.
Idea.
EVER!
they had 3 different types of potatos (regular, roasted garlic, and sweet), and then had all of the toppings to make your own.
i'm still drooling thinking about it!

wow- I am totally going to have that at someones wedding that I am going to be helping to plan- I can offically annouce it in 3 weeks!
mashed potatoes are one of her fav foods!

We had that at our wedding. It was quite the hit.
People paired up the pototoes with meat from the carving station and had a whole mini-meal.

I'm surprised - I've seen that at a couple of weddings for a few years now - definitely a yummy addition to a cocktail hour!!

well, i'm not exactly the most observant person ever.
and, actually, i went over to the station b/ci thought it was an ice cream/sundae thing (which i thought was kind of odd for a cocktailhour- but hey, who am i to say where ice cream belongs?!)

I had that at a wedding I went to at Carlyle. They did a good job.
I opted instead for the sushi and vodka ice sculpture.
