4th of July. It's my anniversary. Plus when I was a kid the bases used to always do it up big, so it was a lot of fun.
My least fave is Christmas. Too stressful.

I both love and hate christmas, even though I am a brassy jewess. Christmas just feels so nice, the whole country shuts down and the telly is good, and you have have a lovely roast dinner with Yorkshire Puddings and Roast Potatoes and Turkey or Roast Beef. And I get my festive lights out...they make the house glow. And we get a nice long period of time off here, so its like a real break. And Boxing Day too...we can eat our roast dinner leftovers! Yummy!

I usually say Christmas, both Eve & Day. But lately Thanksgiving has been tie with it. I find Thanksgiving more relaxing and the start of the holiday season and all the joy that comes along with it.

I like the season more then the day - if that makes sense
makes perfect sense....thats how I feel too.
My Dh says that Thanksgiving and 4th of July are a tie! But he said 4th of July would "win" if he could go back 10 years.

I'd have to say Christmas...just love the Christmas holiday spirit, the Christmas carols, the tree, the traditional Christmas eve dinner at my mom's, the midnight mass, the gifts , and Christmas Day at my SIL...love it all...
Easter and Thanksgiving are ehhhhh...

June 21st - Summer begins (OK, it's not a real holiday, but it kicks off summer, which I love)
As for a real holiday, I guess Christmas Eve. That's the day my DH and I spend with eachother. Just the two of us. We go out for a great sushi dinner, come home, change into our pj's, have a few drinks, and exchange gifts.
It's our quiet time, before the craziness of Christmas Day comes. The gift-giving, insane present-opening, greediness and family tension has put a sour note on Christmas for me the past few years. I enjoy my 1 on 1 time with DH way more than Christmas day.

I love Halloween because it really kicks off all of the other holidays. I love the time leading up to Halloween also.
Thanksgiving, of course, is my all time favorite though.
I think I just like to celebrate things.

Halloween!! Love the costumes, the scary movies, the parties and the candy. 4th of July is probably my second favorite because I don't have a backyard so we always go to someone else's house. The rest of the holidays involve stress (i.e., family and me cooking).

Thanksgiving, love the food and the holiday smells!
Also love Xmas Eve, DH and I do our own thing in the am/afternoon and then see family that we dont see often at night, its always fun!
