I do think a Hummer is a bit absurd but at the same time you have to keep in mind that the police departments don't pay "retail" price like we do at a dealership. When police departments establish contract with car manufacturers, in many cases they buy at wholesale and depending on the number of cars they purchase probably less than that. Just something to keep in mind!
