What would the you NOW, then the you when you were 18?

I have had a lot of time to think this year with JT working nights, and I've really taken a look at a lot of things in my past that I may not have "owned" at the time.

So, I think that the 28 year old me, would tell the 18 year old me to understand more that people do care what I say and actually will be affected by it.
I never fully understood that my words could really hurt someone or influence someone, and I definitely think I would have been a different person had I known that then.

I would tell myself to not worry about what people think of you and to be more comfortable with who I am (was). I would also tell myself to go away to school and not worry about staying home to be with my boyfriend. Biggest mistake ever. I would probably also tell myself to appreciate what incredible parents I have.

The 29 year old me, would tell the 18 yr me this:
I would tell myself that you are not going to live forever and either are the people around. Your parents, friends. Life moves very fast. Love yourself enough to be confident in yourself and follow your dreams. You can do anything you set your mind to. Be kinder to people.

The 36 year old me would have said "You have nothing to feel guilty about when you got drunk and hooked up with that guy at the fraternity party up at college. You did marry him didn't you?"
