my current job, its currently all paid for
last job, it was between 18-20dollars a week
so close to a hundred a month for insurance

I obtained my health insurance through mediabistro (which serves as a guild) at a group rate. You choose from a list of health insurance companies when you apply.

My company pays half. For my Family plan with Empire BCBS its $214.00 per pay check. I get paid bi-weekly so its either $428 or $642 per month.

Im sorry it is about $1,000 a month, not $1,100. We also have MDNY. So we pay all that money and their prescription plan doesn't cover my migraine meds. How aggravating. There are 5 of us.

We don't have insurance through work. We pay about $200 a month for the two of us. But we don't have dental on that plan.

We pay $8/pay period for the family. DH works for the county in IL. Before that I was paying $203/month for family plan through my job.

In 2005 I paid about $350 a month. It used to go up by as much as $50-$75 per month each year, and the plans would offer less and less. I went on DH's plan when we got married.

We have a family plan (for 4) through DH's job. They pay 50% ... our portion is $612.00 per month.
However, it seems like NOTHING is ever covered and, when something is covered, the coveage is pitiful.
