Ok, in the beginning of the episode the hatch or room they showed had what appeared to be a new washer & dryer almost like the ones they give away on home makeover.

also desmound said he trained to be a dr not that he was a dr.

the plane with the vm statues had heroin and the pilots were dressed as priest.

also walt looked like he had slime or goo on him not water. also when watching the dvds they left out a very important part when they reaired the episodes or maybe i didnt catch it when it was on. However walt told locke dont open then hatch, dont do it. Then he was talking to his father and told him he burnt the first raft because he(walt) wanted to stay. So Michael was like we can stay if you like. Walt looked at him with this look on his face said we must go.

Remember at the stadium, when he kept repeating "but what if you did fix her" even though Jack said it was impossible. Then he got no answer and just changed subjects . What if Jack thought "i'd give my life".

They all seem to have something they could have traded for:
-a million dollars
-a relationship with his son
-being able to walk
-saving the patient

I got into this show late so let me know if I missed anything and I am curious about the take on this theory.

Could it be a deal with the devil.....

when jack had that flashback where he was running up some steps with that guy, (who is now the one with the gun) didn't he say to jack at the end: "see you in another life" ???? hmmmm...makes you wonder if in fact they are in pergatory.

I feel like such a loser. I do not ever see any "deep" or "meaningful" connections on this show. I'm not saying they aren't there- I just can't find them.

to me, it's just a modern day Gilligan's Island-people chillin all over the place with WAY too many belongings, considering it was only supposed to be a 3 hour tour
