Ocean - I like the sound. Pool side can be noisy and not very relaxing IMO.

i love both. for a day to day type thing, i'd probably pick pool. for a vacay - i love to be at the beach. doesn't matter what time of year - the sound of the water, the sand, the sunsets - are so relaxing to me!

i'm not crazy about the sand..however if I was in the south with BLUE water, I may be able to forget about the sand.

Ocean if we are talking about hotel room views. But i prefer to lay by the pool if we are just talking about which we prefer to swim in.

Hey, I want both...I love going from the ocean and rinsing off in the pool. But the ocean is much more soothing, I guess.
