Is this a good Idea?
My DH fell in love with this! He was shopping and ran across this now he wants me to think about buying one for our baby what do you think? I never used anything like it I always went with a crib.
What do you think? Image Attachment(s):

Re: Is this a good Idea?
Is this supposed to be instead of a crib? Does it rock?

It's like a bassinet? It does have the option to rock but I can't be too sure I have only seen it on the internet,,,he saw @ BRU he said it's a changing table and a portable crib,,???

I registered for one. Are you also getting a crib?

YES! definitely...how long would a baby be able to sleep securely in a bassinet...right? Are you getting this and a crib?

Re: Is this a good Idea?
We have one, and a crib for when she's old enough. Both my sister-in-laws used one, they said it was nicer to keep it in your room for the first two or so months for midnight feedings, and then move her into her crib once she's sleeping through the night.

That's what my DH wants it for... I think he just doesn't want to be walking from the nursery to our room at night

Re: Is this a good Idea?
We got one (very similar) for DH's peace.
He was worried the baby would be too far (only 12 ft between my bed and the nursery!) so I gave in and registered for one.
We got it already. Mine in on roller but has the option to rock/glide.
I will put it next to my bed at night.
It can only be used for a very short amount of time. Baby cannot be rolling, lifting himself/herself, etc... It would become too dangerous.
ETA: I will be BF and we also have a crib in the nursery.
