Had lunch today at the Grand Luxe Cafe
eh... I was a bit let down. I heard such great things about it. the food was ok, service, great. I would eat there again, but I wouldn't go out of my way... 
it's owned by the same co as the Cheesecake Factory. IMO, the CF is MUCH better.

I didn't love it either-its a nice place though but CF is soo much better IMO.

same as the CF - they have everthing. but I didn't "love" the food. it was just ok.

I liked it. I had the pot roast sammy..yummo..
drinks were good too. Service was a little lacking.

I've been there a couple of times, and I agree - I like CF much better. The service at Grand Luxe, in my experience, is lousy.

I ate at the one in Chicago. I was a little disappointed also. I definitely like Cheesecake Factory better.
The Caramel Apple Martini was good though

I think they are more about atmosphere and presentation. The food is tasty, but I dont wait an hour for food that is simply tasty. If I am to go there, I try going during less busy times or it just doesnt seem worth it to me.

That's what I heard as well. That Grand Luxe isn't nearly as good as Cheesecake.
