Grand Lux Cafe
DH and I went to the Grand Lux tonight. OMG, it was so good.
We started with the Double Stuffed Potato Spring Rolls, a potato stuffed spring roll with bacon and cheddar topping. For dinner, DH had the Shaking Beef and I had Chicken Piccata. For dessert, we had Beignets, which are like a zeppole with three sauces, chocolate, raspberry, and banana.
It was amazing! I highly recommend, it was totally worth the 1 hour and 15 minute wait.

Re: Grand Lux Cafe
Glad you enjoyed it!
I have been to the one in Chicago, and honestly, I wasn't that impressed!
But maybe it was just that one!

Re: Grand Lux Cafe
I have only been to the one in Chicago as well. It was ok. It's owned by the Cheesecake Factory people so its very similar and priced higher.

Re: Grand Lux Cafe
I went with my dh and friends a few months ago, and it was pretty good. The TWO HOUR wait was little to be desired, but the atmosphere and the food made up for it when we finally sat down.

Re: Grand Lux Cafe
I went recently for lunch. We liked it and I would go back, but much like the Cheesecake Factory, I won't wait long to eat there.

Re: Grand Lux Cafe
DH and I ate there. We thought it was good, but would have been much better with more people. It is definetely a group-eats kind of place.

Re: Grand Lux Cafe
I love grand lux, the desserts that you have to order ahead of time are ALL fabulous! I cant stand waits, so we only go at "off times"
