A nice compliment
I went out to eat with a few of the younger women in the office today, and they asked me whether I had any children, so I started telling them about Alex.
One of them said to me, when you talk about her, you get this serene, happy look on your face - you can tell how much you love her.
How sweet is that? It's amazing to think that I worried every day of my pregnancy that I wouldn't feel a "connection" with my baby, and that I didn't have ANY maternal instincts. I couldn't have been more wrong

That's wonderful!!!
I felt the same way when I was pregnant, and now I can't imagine that I ever felt that way. I love her more every day and can't imagine my life without her.
It's amazing that people can see that when you talk about her. What a great mommy you are
