Which one should I buy?

I want to get another piece for the nursery that matches the bedding. I dont have too much $$$ and its all so expensive.

None of it really needed, just "extras".

Which should I spend the money on?

Im sooo bad at decisions.

Lamp Shade ( $22)


Toy Bag ($32)



Mobile ( $38.50)


Or Valances ( need 2 of them so $50)

i'm thinking the mobile, if you want to spend the extra money although not necessary.

i think you may be able to find green curtains for less and since they don't specifically have the frog theme on them anyway, it's not like you need to spend the money on the ones that go with the set. and the same for the lamp shade. it's cute, but as soon as the baby outgrows that bedding set, then you may want a plainer lamp in there.

good luck-i know how hard these decisions can be!!


eta: and i def. don't think the toy bag is worth it. it will probably get filled up quickly and it may get dirty quickly too.

Mobile! It is cute and people swear by them.

I agree that you can probably find green valances, sage is a popular color right now, so it is pretty easy to find.

Is Ribbit the name of the pattern?

You could register for what you want. Also I got some of the matching stuff (lamp, bedding, mobile, valances) for my pattern on ebay -- like or actually new, much cheaper than in the store..!

I would get the toy bag, you can never have too much storage! And it looks adorable on the crib.

The mobile is cute but those cutesy ones really are not that stimulating for a baby. I highly reccomend a mobile by Tiny Love... I know they don't match anything but babies absolutley love them!

Yes its ribbit and its not sold at BRU wher eIm registered. And is discontinued at BBB. Its only available online.

I search ebay on a daily basis for it. Since its rare, there is never anything or I would snatch it up believe me. )

Yeah, I just did a seaarch on ebay and craig's list.

I'd get one thing and register for the rest. In which case I'd get the valance so you can put it up ahead of time, and have the room "finished". But that's me....

I'd get the valances or the lamp shade. You have to take the mobile off once they start sitting up, so that's a waste. Plus we went through a few like those and they were such crap and would only work for like a month or so. The baby einstein mobile worked the best, and you can take the mobile part off and leave it up as a crib toy.

The toy bag is also a waste IMO. Too small to hold all the toys you will end up having.

ETA: I'd never leave toys in teh bag attached to the side of the crib. You're going to be amazed how fast they start going and how far pee-pee goes when changing a boy's diaper. I've had to wipe down the crib and the walls a few times.

I definitely think the mobile. You'd probably get the most use out of it. LOVE the theme, by the way.

It all looks great but if it was me, I would be least interested in the matching lampshade. I am not sure if I like lampshades to match a theme, and sometimes the matching ones look too kitschy or cheaper than a plain one. I do love themes but I never like the lampshades. I know, this could be just me.

Now watch, I end up with eating my own words and getting a matching lampshade.

I wouldn't recommend getting the mobile. We had a cute pink princess one for DD that matched our bedding but it was a wind up and lasted literally less than 1 minute. I ended up getting her the aquarium one that lights up the ceiling with stars and fish and has a remote control so I don't have to go back in there and lasts so much longer. Good luck with your choice!

the mobile is very cute, but you have to take it out after 5 months - I think you'd get longer use out of the lamp shades

I voted for the toy bag. I wish my set had one. I ended up getting an accent one off ebay that matched other things in her room.

I got the mobile that matched DD's bedding and for us it was useless. Maybe she wasn't into mobiles or maybe it was because it really wasn't as exciting as the other ones available with different colors, lights, etc. So I would say skip the mobile.

Valances, you could always get plain ones that go with your bedding.

The lamshades are cute so I guess that would be my next pick but even still I would probably go with something more versatile you could use in a "big boy" room.

I guess I'm full of opinons....
In the end pick which you want most to finish off your room.
