Mine always did, but I made him stay by my head and he had to let me squeeze his hand. I found they always got more painful the further along I got!

DH doesnt usually go to my regular ob appts, he goes to all the growth scans etc, but not to the regular ones b/c I would usually get hooked up to monitor and the appts last a long time.

My DH did and will. He never looked at anything and basically stayed in his chair in the corner.
I kind of felt funny taking it all off on the bottom in front of him in the office though!!

I had my first one today and he came in. He stayed by my head. Before the NP came in kept asking where the stirrups where and if they use a spotlight... He's such a child sometimes.

Dh did in the beginning for both pg's. The first time he stayed by my head, but after I had DD, he watched the whole birth, so with #2 it was nothing new to him so see my doc in his area.
He didn't come with me at the end though.

The last one he went to I saw one of the male docs in the practice. I could tell after we left he must have been a bit uncomfortable having been there.
I'm sure he'll been ok at the birth though.

DH came for the 2nd sono (he could not come to the 1st one).
They did an internal since I was just 12 wks PG. I had "warned" him so he would not be in total shock.
He stayed by my side and everything was fine. He admitted he did not feel as awkward since the dr. is a female.

He has come to all but one of my appointments so far. The first appointment, he was going to wait in the waiting room, but the doctor was so excited for him, he actually went out into the waiting room to get him so he could see .
Of course, DH mistakenly stood by my feet and got quite a show....he claims he's now scarred for life.
Since then, he stands off to the side.

DH has come to all of my appts with me. He came with me Wednesday night and was sitting in the room and the nurse told me I was going to be having an internal. I told DH he can sit in the waiting room. He didnt mind staying but I think he was nervous. Wait until I go into labor and deliver

DH came to the important visits - sonos and hearing HB for first time. I personally would never want him in the room during an internal. He was totally fine with that.
When I was in labor with DS, he stayed at my shoulders the entire time. He said he was not interested in looking "down there". Said it would ruin it for him.

Yup, was there for all sono's and in the beginning most were internal.
He would even turn his head at times and I would laugh. Hello, nothing you havent seen already!!

I hava growth sono on Thursday along with my first internal. I do not know if DH will want to stay in the room for the internal. I will leave it up to him, I do not care either way.
