Any home remedies for a sore throat?
I have a horrible sore throat (post nasal drip?) and I'm sipping hot chocolate. I was told it was good for a sore throat. Any other recommendations?

Plenty of tea with lemon and honey. And airborne, though it tastes terrible.

I have the same thing...I had hot tea this morning with honey. Stay away from dairy it coats your throat & creates mucus.

boil hot water, add salt and lemon....the hot chocolate is definitely not good for a sore throat - stay away from unnatural sugars.
If you don't like salt and lemon - just use honey and lemon.

i would avoid dairy. try just tea and lemon/honey, that may help.

Chicken Soup - they had a segment on this morning on the Today Show and it really helps!! Make sure it has veggies in it.
Shower Soothers are great. Also nasal irrigation or neti pot (sold in pharmacies near Afrin but it is just a saline solution).
Humidifier when you sleep.

This one is weird, but I've had a really really bad sore throat for a few days, so I gave it a shot.
Take 1 tsp of cayenne pepper and mix in warm water (about the amount of a coffee cup) and gargle.
It tastes totally disgusting, and will burn your throat a little, but it did help me. I couldn't stand to do it again though, so I'm going to go back to salt & warm water.
