TV is a bad influence...
...on my mother.
Just today I was told that my mother's fascination with "Miami Ink", has brought her to wanting a tattoo. I could care less about the tattoo part as I have 4 myself and a couple of piercings too. I just think it is hilarious that a 75 year old Long Island widow wants one. AND NOW, my sister thinks that Mom and the 4 kids should all get the same one in the same location. Pure hilarity.

My cousins, sister and I are all on myspace now and my sister and I were laughing the other day b/c my grandmother totally would have wanted to make one so she could be in the loop! She got AIM when we all went to college.

I have no idea what she wants to get. If she werent a diabetic, Id say go for it, but I dont know how well she would heal. She is also a cardiac patient on lot of medication. I guess he has become very progressive! I am more shocked that my sister chimed in - she is more conservative.

I would be concerned as well with the medical info. Maybe she should opt for her doctor's phone numbers and relevant medical info as a tattoo?
