SIL Vent
My SIL, who was my MOH offered to take my flowers and dry them while we were on the honeymoon. So we get home 2 days before Thanksgiving and I kind of forgot about them. I call her last mont when I thought of it and, she tells me, she THREW my flower out a few days after the wedding b/c she didn't like how they were drying.
***? It wasn't her decision to make. I'm contemplating having the florist make me a smaller version so I have them because its really bothering me that I don't have any freakin flowers from my wedding.
Whew, now I feel better, just had to get that out. Thanks for letting me vent!

I wish that I had them put in a shadow box frame thing

so you guys don't think I"m being crazy? DH thinks I'm nuts to want to have a new bo-k made. Problem is, I don't want to get my guts twisted everytime I look at it because it's not the real one from the wedding.
I think I"m going to do it though, I loved my flowers and want to be able to look back at them, even if they aren't the exact ones from that day. And as far as she goes, let's just say I'm not exactly buying why they were thrown away, I'm thinking a little passive agressive nonsense was going on, but that's a story for another day.

I sometimes think about getting a new bo-k so that I can do the frame thing. Not crazy at all.

nope, not crazy at all! i would totally have a replica bo-k made up if i needed to! i say go for it!
better yet, wait another couple of weeks, and tell your dh to have it sent to you for Valentine's Day! 
Although it won't be from your Wedding Day, at least it will represent your big day, and still be a special bo-k because you got it on V-Day

Perhaps she just forgot that there was a reason she had them? I don't know, it just seems sooo odd that she would make that decision. If I was doing that for someone OF COURSE I would let them dry and hand them over. If I didn't like the way they dried I would apologize while I handed them over though.
I love MrsERod's idea about doing it for V-day that way it still is special.
My one question is if you get this done, everytime you look at it will it bring this one situation with your SIL back to the forefront of your mind?

ewwwwwwwwww! it sounds like jealousy...hopefully it will stop and she won't become the nut my sil is.

Wow!! I could see my sil doing that but we are not best friends by any means-lol!
My flowers were put into a frame by a woman in PA and she only charged $100. The frame alone is over $200. She quit after doing mine!! They were HUGE.
