Re: Britney Spears Finds a Kevin Federline Replacement
1. Can't parents do things without their kids!?!
  2. Maybe Britney prefers to keep her kids out of the limelight if given the option.
  3. Britney obviously doesn't have a 9-5 job, so she's able to go out and do things during the day and/or night. Doesn't mean she spends any less time with her children.
People are so quick to criticize how much time she spends with her children (based on snapshots), but do you judge moms who drop their children off at day care or have a nanny watching them b/c they choose or have to work? Are they any less of a parent?

I agree w/what you're saying, however, in the case of Britney - no matter when pictures are taken of her - day AND night, she never seems to be with her children.
Yes, parents leave their children at daycare b/c they HAVE to work in order to support their families. However, (and I'm not a parent) I would think that after not seeing your child all day long, that you would do anything to spend as much time with them during the evening.
Again, all we do see are these snapshots and haven't the slightest idea of WHEN they're taken...but they look rather recent and are in abundance.

We're discussing time away from children, correct? Doesn't matter how the time is spent, whether it's work or getting loaded...the parent isn't there.
DH and I have gone away w/o DD...even went out and got drunk! Are parents not entitled to still live their own lives?
It hasn't been confirmed that Pure requested their fee back. In fact their statement said no such thing.

How do we know how much time Britney spends with her children when she's home (heck, they may even travel with her)?

I agree w/what you're saying, however, in the case of Britney - no matter when pictures are taken of her - day AND night, she never seems to be with her children.

There may be reasons for that. If you had people chasing you with cameras, wouldn't you want to keep your children from being exposed to that?
Yes you see photos of other celebs out about town w/their children...but I can guarantee you that they don't have the same amount of paparazzi following them that Britney does.

Posted by ChrissynRicky Yes, parents leave their children at daycare b/c they HAVE to work in order to support their families. However, (and I'm not a parent) I would think that after not seeing your child all day long, that you would do anything to spend as much time with them during the evening.

Not all parents HAVE to work. Sometimes it's a choice. regardless, just b/c we see Britney out in photos, doesn't mean she doesn't go home to her kids later in the day or in the morning if she was out at night. And I see nothing wrong with traveling without your children.

Posted by ChrissynRicky Again, all we do see are these snapshots and haven't the slightest idea of WHEN they're taken...but they look rather recent and are in abundance.

Again, they're snapshots...moments of her life. Even if there were photos taken and posted of her every day, it doesn't mean she doesn't spend any time with her children. You're only seeing a small portion of her life. We have no idea what goes on at home, when the cameras aren't snapping away.

BTW, for what it's worth...Britney may not spend any time with her kids at all. I have no freakin' clue about the girl's life behind closed doors.

Re: Britney Spears Finds a Kevin Federline Replacement
I dont think partying and getting trashed, getting high, etc on a daily basis is a good example for her kids whether she is finding time to spend with her kids or not.
On top of that she's not even discreet about it so IMO her kids are going to have issues as they get older if she doesnt quit it.

Re: Britney Spears Finds a Kevin Federline Replacement
I think the main issue that gets us all frazzled is she looks like hell, seems to have no respect for even herself, has made mistakes (which I'm sure all new moms can make) with her kids, and lets her hoo ha hang out. Now, on NYE she was on tv at a party, and Fedex was on tv at a party, and even my DH said, "Who is with those babies?" Well, a nanny probably. Britney is a classic example of a girl who wants to play house, but seems to show the world that she's not serious enough about her life and motherhood.
Yeah, she can beach it all day and she probably tries to keep her kids out of the cameras....but IMO, she should come forth with a little more class. No reason to fight over her. She ain't thinkin about us! ha ha And parents are certainly entitled to enjoy life, this is just...an immature extreme.

Again...on Britney's behalf...when you say get "high", are you referring to alcohol or insinuating drug use?
How the heck do we know it's on a daily basis?

sorry...the Libra in me has to look at both sides.
