Jennifer, absolutely beautiful!! I love it!
Beth, we have a hi-ranch and the living room and dining room are L-shaped, but it had no real separation. DH put up moldings and a rod, so we attached some curtains on it to give it sort of a two room distinct look.
Here's our dining room, taken from the living room:
This is our living room, taken from the dinign room. We are in the process of putting up our Christmas tree, so things are moved around a bit and cramped, but you get the layout idea.

Thanks  I wasn't allowed to have any pink in the apartment (DH's "rule" after the ultra pink wedding), so I guess red is the new pink
