1 st BIrthday party recommendations

OK, I know I asked this before but I needhelp. All of the places i called were 22.00 a person and up. We just cant swing $1000 or more for a first BDAY party. Does anyone else have a recommendation for me even if it is a kids gym? Thank youi - Shari

What about a chinese buffet? I know a few of them have private rooms and I am sure they are well below 22 a head. Also a while back I remember Rana's in Merrick, an italian restaurant had packages that started at like 14.95 per person. Or maybe a church basement and you could cater food, that shouldn't be too much. I know there is one down the block from my mom in East Meadow that we rented a lot for family parties and it wasn't too expensive (but that was a while ago, don't know what they charge, but I am sure it can't be too much).

If youre thinking about something for the kids only, I had Andrew's 2nd b-day party at MY GYM. For up to 20 kids, it was $295 (for members, but they do non-members too, I think that's $325). Anyway, its pretty reasonable if you ask me.
