I use Murad products and really like them. Hated proactive!

Chin breakouts (I had one last week!) are usually hormonal and hurt like a mother. Also, look at your diet. When I overindulge in dairy (cheese, ice cream) my skin pays for it. I don't know what the dairy/acne connection is, but for me it rings true.

I also use an organic wash that helps. When I'm using too much Murad (it's strong) I like to use natural things.

I see so many older people w/breakouts now. I think it's stress and diet.

What's the organic wash? Where do you get it?

Lavitton.com. It's a water soluble oil cleanser. I use the cleansing oil for oily skin. The theory is oil attracts oil; it actually makes skin cleaner. Key is to apply to dry face, since it dilutes in water.

THanks! I'll have to try it, so it's GOOD for oily skin?

Snozberry, thanks for posting.

I eat a lot of shellfish, I drip on the soy sauce (not often, though) and drink skim in cereal and coffee. Maybe I'll try rice dream.

I have been using Murad for 4 1/2 weeks now. I will say that my skin looks great - pores appear smaller, skin is smooth and a nice color.

I am still breaking out - though minimally and they disappear much quicker. I really like their Clarifying Cleanser and spot treatment...and their Skin Perfecting Lotion is so light and smooth.

I purchased this package and still have way over a month's worth of supply left.

It's ridiculous. I still have problems as well. I'm on Proactiv, but I think my skin has become immune to it. It worked really well when I first started for about 2 years. Now it's so so.

Chat Icon I'm 38 and still prone to breaking outChat Icon I have been using Proactive for 3 years and love it. I also try to avoid chocolate, which unfortunately really affects my skin.

My forehead is a mess!!! I don't have obviously huge pimples, just little tiny annoying ones that I can feel when I run my hand across it. Never in my life did I get pimples like this!!! I'll be 30 in December... it's all downhill from there! lol...
