can we talk about hairbows? *updated with pics*
I have been making a bunch of hairbows/clips for my DD, and gifts for others. Some moms at my school started calling me and wanted to buy some - so I have now been selling them.
DH seems to think I should try to sell them to some boutiques and some craft shows....
so I am curious - where do you buy your bows/clips and what do you pay for them? I have thought about ebay but I dont know if I can make enough $$ that way to make it worth it.

I wouldn't pay more than 8 bucks for a handmade hairclip. i pay that for no slippy hair clippies cause those are the only ones that actually work and stay in there hair for me so far.

ok here are some quick pics....I am also short a bunch of bows since I sent them to school with Talia for one of the moms to see them.
In person they are obviously much prettier. I use swarovski crystals and grosgrain ribbon on most of them.
(I made the bow holder as well)

I dont buy bows right now, b/c I have a son..but I wanted to say they are adorable!!!! You should definately try to sell them or something.

I tend to buy hair clips at claires, the flea market and on special occassion at childrens botique. For everyday wear I would spend around $5 for a clip, but I have paid $12-15 for special bows at the childrens botique for a birthday or christmas

Um, Jen, seriously, those are adorable - I'd pay good money for something like that on Ebay or at a boutique store. As it is now, I buy Alex's hairclips on Ebay, so I'd suggest starting there.
Seriously though, they are really REALLY cute and unique - I bet you would have no problem selling them

They're adorable.... unfortunately I'm on a hair bow hiatus until DD stops putting them in her mouth! Check back with me when that phase is over!!!

Those are great!! Once DD has enough hair I know who to go see!! I think that you should def. try to sell them. Now is the time for craft shows, I would sign up for one!!

i LOVE those clips!!! def. try ebay out!!! i bet you could get quite a bit of business there...maybe also go into a local boutique and just see if you can put up a display there or put some flyers out

Those are adorable. I know I have spent up to $10 on a "unique" hairbow for DD. I would definitely try to sell them to a boutique or on ebay or here!!!
