Camp tip
What do you tip the counselors at a town run 6 week camp, 3 hours a day, 5 days a week? Camp is ending next week and I'm not sure what is appropriate. Thanks!

I was wondering the same. thinking of giving the young counselors $5 gift cards to Starbucks and the head teacher $10 gc. Or $10 for the younger ones and $15 for the teacher? Just a little something to say thank you.

If you call the camp, they probably have suggested amounts. I have always been a big tipper because I have worked at camps and know how little the counselors make. They are watching your child and making sure they are having fun. If your child has liked camp, just keep that in mind. You pay a babysitter about $10/hour to come to your house. I'm not saying tip $500, but my personal opinion is they are caring for my most precious gift, and I want to say thank you.

I think this is perfectly fine. Or maybe some movie gift certificates. It's town camp, not fancy camp that cost $10k a Summer.

I did the town camp last year and at the end I just gave them a bouquet of sweets I made.
Where you happy with the program?
