Good luck! I think our DD's are about the same age (22.5 months)? How are you doing it?

They are basically about the same age. DD is 21.5 months Chat Icon - I think she is growing up too fast as it is

I basically have her running around in underwear with the vinyl underwear over that
I am putting her on the toilet every thirty minutes.
She stays on the toilet for about 8-10 minutes
she is obsessed with my iphone so as long as she is sitting on the toilet, I let her play with it - watching videos ect...
even if she does nothing, I tell her great trying and I am proud of her.
She has had two accidents already and done nothing on the toilet.
I really wanted her potty trained prior to baby number 2 coming (which is in 2 months) but I am not sure if that is going to work. Right after she had both accidents (which I do not make a big negative deal about - I just say uh oh we will try to do pee pee on the potty next time) I asked her if she peed and she says No mommy. so I am not sure if she is getting it to be honest.
But I figured I have off of work until Monday so I am going to stick with it until then and then make a decision on Sunday night if it is something to keep trying or just give it a rest and revisit it at another time.

Did you try potty training your DD yet?
I will take any and all help

Not really. She has a potty and will sit on it with her clothes on and make
"pee pee" sounds and say..."I go pee pee!" Chat Icon Anytime I ask her if she wants to sit on the potty and try pee pee without her diaper, she says "No", so I don't even bother. I actually even stopped asking. The little potty is also a step stool so we just use it for brushing teeth now. Chat Icon

I'm due in 6 weeks with DC#2 also. I think I'm just going to wait a few more months to try again (for my own sanity).

Good luck!! I hope she catches on! Chat Icon

Thank you.
After she woke up from her nap, I asked her is she wanted to try to go pee pee on the potty and she said - No Way!Chat Icon Chat Icon

I am not sure she is really understanding what is suppose to be happening because every time I take her off the potty, she pees on the floor Chat Icon
I am not going crazy but will stick with it until sunday.
I will let you know how it goes.

Good Luck! Try a reward system like stickers or something else that your child likes.
