I would NOT help! In these situations, where the person is not clearly distresed - I have a strict no helping rule. I don't trust people who ask for "dumb help" and tend to assume the worst. I put my safety first. Also, I never ask strangers for help (probably for the same reason - it works both ways). I just figure it out myself. The only people I make exceptions are the elderly and children.
I don't loan my cell phone to strangers, I don't answer the door for them, I have no change to spare and I don't have the time if I am alone in a dark / quiet place.

Completely ignore and get to my car quickly. If hes not going to drag you to a van, hes still insane for asking a random person to flip his damn glove.
