People complain about snow. I sure don't know why. It's NY. Not Florida.
But then complain when we get 2 days of 80+ degree in the Summer. Like it's not FL and it should be cooler.
I don't get it!

Me too- but I am an NYC teacher, so even if there are 2 feet of snow the Mayor will expect us to put on snow shoes and get there!

I hate the snow!!!!! Sometimes I have to drive to work in NJ (very very far from home) and my boss and client get annoyed at me. So yes, I hate the snow.
If I didnt work, it wouldnt bother me so much, so I actually kinda like it on the weekend so I can have a nice cozy snow day. (Unless I have to work on the weekend.)
I also have to shovel which can be annoying when it is 5 am and I have to go to work. But I dont mind it on the weekend because it is a good workout!

I don't think it's the snow that bothers us. I wouldn't mind a little. It's the amount and frequency of it! It just gets to be too much!

Here are my thoughts, if anyone cares
1. Poor Kelly. I feel for you, I really do. Heaven forbid you do not get on here. All hell will break loose.
2. I think the higher powers are trying to x-nay my plans of going into NYC to see my doctors because every time I try, there is a snowstorm. I am very glad I did not make the appointment again. I would only cancel anyway!

Poor Kelly, heaven forbid there's any amount of precipitation in the future everyone on hear panics until she posts something.  Yes, she's great with all of her information but will you really not survive if she doesn't tell you ahead of time? I think we should try that for this next "storm". Give Kelly a break.

Last time we HAD to drive down there was the Monday after Christmas. Man, our timing is off...

Oh, but this is not heat I speak of. Arizona has heat. I too love waking up in 80 degree weather, hence why I love Florida winter.
No, I am talking HUMIDITY. Like you cannot breathe, sweat the second you walk outside, your skin burns heat with humidity. No breeze to cool you down. Just inferno. Everyone I know in FL complains about it.
Just had to say that. I love summer as much as anyone else. But I detest Florida summer. I prefer it here. Where I can get 80 and a breeze!
I think it gets humid here too... hot can't breathe weather. No breeze. sweating the second you get out, feeling like you just walked into an oven.
80 and a breeze is nice... the nights like this are def nice. but I hate the summer bc I HATE the heatwaves and the humidity!!
ahh and the worst is the subway in the summer!!!

You crack me up with this one. You heard it, but from nowhere? Little weather gnomes are secretly talking to you?

im picturing weather gnomes, they're a cross between the "roaming gnome" and a snowman. they also have little hats with weathervanes on top... like the propeller hats, but weathervanes.

Yes, its possible!....
Kelly has said her forcasts quoted section is from " weather.gov " .... so if you haven't seen her post yet then you just go to the site, enter your zipcode and it pulls up the weather. Under the "Detailed 7 day forcast" they will post a link if there are things like hazardous weather outlook - which there is one now talking about the snow...
however it currently states "BECAUSE MODELS SHOW A VARIETY OF TRACK AND INTENSITY FORECASTS...
THIS IS A LOW CONFIDENCE FORECAST." ... we are going to have to wait a little more for a better update
There is also another guy who posts about the big snow possibilities which is Henry Margusity on accuweather.com

Exactly. Like I have mentioned before: These aren't my forecasts. I don't forecast anymore. I am just interpreting all the weather jargon for everyone to understand from weather.gov. They are the weather Gods.
As for the guy from 'crappuweather', you can keep him.
