Worst storm of the winter to come on Tues-Wed??
Did anyone hear this? A couple of friends of mine just told me that the "Storm of the Year" will be hitting our area on Tues-Wed. Is this true?! Please tell me it's not. As if 2ft wasn't enough!!

I think that's a bit dramatic.
From what I heard on the weather this morning they still aren't sure too much about this coming storm.
It's still early.
Either way I am OVER IT!!!!!!!!!

And this is why meteorologists get a bad name. The news media and the general public sensationalizes everything.

I have a FB friend who is a wannabe Kelly - he drives ferries and cruise ships so he follows all those weather sites. He basically said the same thing, obviously I am not running out for bread and milk until Kelly tells me to!

I heard this too...my boss is always on top of the weather sinse he has to decide if we are closed or not. I am sooooo done with the winter!

Now, since there are so many storms - our building does not even close anymore. The last storm we had - if it had been last year, they definitely would have closed! Instead we got a delayed opening b/c we already closed after Christmas!

I haven't heard anything... but it's so funny to me to think about how when we were all kids, I'm sure we were all PRAYING for snow to hit us and snow us in so that school would be closed.
Now that we are adults with responsibilities, jobs, driveways and sidewalks to shovel... not quite as exciting!

I actually do remember winters like this growing up I remember one year of HS we had major blizzards and the school was closed.

I remember differently, in the 70s and 80s I remember more snow than we've had in recent years. I thought we DON'T get as much as we used to 20-30 yrs ago (aside from this year and last maybe)?
