He has a thorough plan for testing and tracing, and wants schools to remain open, and he plans on more aid to districts to remain open safely. So...

Only speaking for myself but Trump did not get my vote solely because I am appalled with his anti-science rhetoric. It makes my blood boil that he allows ignorant people to question the integrity of the work of our country's greatest, brightest scientists who have devoted their lives to helping Americans be healthy.
I am a republican. I thought he was doing a decent job in office. Of course I wished he would stay off twitter and whole heartedly denounce racism but overall, I was okay with him. Until he allowed the work of our most respected scientists and physicians to be questioned. I have a huge, excuse me, YUUUUUGE problem with that.

Imagine if Trump had spent this much energy and focus on stopping covid than he did counting votes. He’s more concerned about votes than 230k dead.
