It makes me very nervous what will happen. All of you complain you want businesses to open up, but if Biden gets in, he will never let them open, he didnt even want schools to open. He will make you hide in your basements and be fearful. More people will be out of work, and let the welfare train begin, and taxes are going to go up. I hope I am wrong. Only time will tell.

As an educator you should be ashamed of spewing this unfounded, baseless, nonsense. You cannot be a safe and unbiased educator with these claims, you are harming people. This is disgusting.

Your children probably spout the same garbage and that is shameful. I'm seeing it in my preteen nephews and in the local high school - little white supremacists in training.

I want to preface this by saying - I’m not a political person and rarely follow the news etc. However, this election is really not sitting well with me and making me so uncomfortable about the democratic process. There is something very shady and unsettling about a candidate winning an entire state solely because of absentee mail in ballots. I go to sleep and the news outlets report Trump has a state and then you wake up and because of one million envelopes, Biden now does. I’m not saying it’s definitely not legit but it certainly doesn’t feel right. Maybe going forward they can find a better way to do this.

My entire point of my posts that I have been shot down (probably because it is me and not anyone else on here).
This is 2020 and there is no reason with the amount of technology and intelligent people in this country why we can't have voting as a smooth process.
If you don't see a problem with all of this happening, you are hiding your head and being very naïve IMO.

You are showing your privilege. Not everyone has that option. I voted absentee, not mail-in. Absentee has a different set of rules and you have to register every time. Then I got my ballot and I had to pay overseas postage for it.

It isn’t easy for everyone. Why don’t you create a voting process that is smooth instead of wasting your time posting conspiracy theories?

Isn't this exactly what we expected to happen? Trump spent months telling his supporters not to use mail in ballots. Now we're supposed to be shocked that he's not getting mail in voters and call foul about it? I don't think so.

And once you see what someone is capable of, it is hard to unsee. I have refused to lower myself to get into it with internet trolls and bullies as I have tried to engage in discussions over the past year online, ...but man---I am astounded at how easily deceived, triggered, and exploited some are and how fast masks come off.

My two cents -

First, I am cautiously optimistic. Many experts and media are predicting Biden to take PA and still will likely take AZ and NV. Fingers crossed. Even though these are tight races the Dems are still favored to win this. Hopefully by the weekend we can FINALLY call Trump a "lame duck" and Biden, Mr. President-Elect.

Second, there is NO voter fraud, everything is being counted fairly and ANY commentary opposite that is NOTHING more than Trump propaganda and brainwashing. There is nothing abnormal about this election and we will know the results soon. I think Trump's election tantrums coupled with his insistence he's already won while crying about the ballots and filing lawsuits does nothing but delegitimize our election system. As always, he can't be told NO or that he LOST something. He will drag this country through effing hell before January 20th because like everything, it ALL has to be about him.

Lastly, if this election has taught me anything it's that SO many Americans are dumb as hell when it comes to even a basic understanding of the electoral college and how the election process actually works. I am literally embarrassed for people when I read their ignorant, misguided and completely wrong comments. People don't have a single clue. Voter registration should come with an IQ test attached. lol

I am just sitting tight, staying hopeful and waiting (not so) patiently for Biden to take us to 270!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

This. 100%

Plus, do people really oppose mail in voting? Do they really think that those who are too disabled or too high risk for that pesky global pandemic we are being told to ignore as it kills us and our economy SHOULDN'T get to participate in our democracy?

Not to mention people whose work schedules or travel necessities prohibit going out and waiting on line for several days. Or many other categories of deserbing people. It's lunacy.

I love the way there are actual attorneys that seem to be arguing that vote counting needs to stop in certain places, but continue in others. It'll be interesting to see whose credibility and reputations remain intact when this is over.

Whoever wins we can onlyhope it is square and fair.
Be ready for the first woman president as that is what will come next if he is determined president.
That scares me more than having him or Trump in office, honestly.

ITA.

Many of our overseas military members vote by mail. Is the GOP saying that our soldiers shouldn't be allowed to vote? That's a pretty bold statement.....

Because in some areas, just heard but sorry did not hear what state, they can count until the 13th. There is no reason it should take 10 days to count votes and if it does, then things need to change that ballots need to be in a week earlier than the election. Start the process earlier then as with this year at least, most people knew who they were voting for way before election day.

Absolutely not and many had their votes in weeks ago.
Everyone should be allowed to vote. The voting process needs to be fixed though so we don't have to go through this mess again in other elections.

How many times do Trump supporters need to be told that elections are NOT fraudulent. There has NEVER in the history of our election been a case of fraudulence, especially one that has affected the outcome of an election.

Now, it's possible that there is some level of human error because no system is perfect however, the system is NOT fraudulent. Stop whining about an election that is being properly run like EVERY SINGLE ELECTION BEFORE IT.

Read up and educate yourself, understand how virtually impossible it would be to pull off
fraudulent voting in an election.

As far as Kamala, I would have NO issue with a woman POTUS. She is intelligent, strong and qualified.

I’m sure if that was the case then Trump would’ve claimed that they dumped these “extra ballots” prior to election day. No matter what the situation he will find a way to throw a tantrum.

Every State is allowed to make their own laws about voting. While we may not like some of the policies, we have to follow the laws that are currently on the books. If a State wants to change their voting laws, they can work on that, but for right now, we have to follow the rules that are in place right now.

Some people are undecided up until they get to the ballot. I don't understand how that is possible, but it is. If it wasn't, why would there be so many signs just past the 100' mark at voting places. Candidates are trying to sway people's opinions at the last moment.

"Law and Order"... it's not just a TV show....

I love the way there are actual attorneys that seem to be arguing that vote counting needs to stop in certain places, but continue in others. It'll be interesting to see whose credibility and reputations remain intact when this is over.

I’m sure if that was the case then Trump would’ve claimed that they dumped these “extra ballots” prior to election day. No matter what the situation he will find a way to throw a tantrum.

I am trying hard to understand why Trump supporters are under the complete delusion that a winner is suppose to be declared on election night??? Chat Icon Chat Icon

This election is NO different than others, there is NO reason to demand ballots be returned earlier just so you can get the outcome you want on election night. States don't even certify their results for DAYS following an election and states have ALWAYS had time AFTER election night to continue to count votes. The election is a process, not just one night.

It's so unfortunate that people have no understanding of how our election system works.

Sorry but anyone who doesn't believe there is voter fraud in any election, is dumb as hell.
Whoever wins we can onlyhope it is square and fair.
Be ready for the first woman president as that is what will come next if he is determined president.
That scares me more than having him or Trump in office, honestly.

You keep saying Harris is scary but maybe I missed why?

Also, the Trump administration spent 4 years trying to prove widespread voter fraud and came up with nothing.

138,000 dumped ONLY Biden votes in the middle of the night doesn't make you think twice?

No. The actual facts said that there WASN'T a dump. It WASN'T "only Biden votes". There's basically nothing accurate about that conspiracy theory.

What source told you that? Funny how when we all went to bed (some later as it was 3am when this happened as my kid went to bed right before then) Trump was ahead. Who is dropping off ballots in the middle of the night? I can see people working through the night counting them but they just appeared?

What VALID source told you that 138,000 ballots were dumped off? NUMEROUS sites confirmed that there was no such "dumping". It was a typo that was corrected, and Biden actually lost votes. The only source you posted is an extreme right-wing conspiracy theory site with no actual facts.

There were NO ballots dropped off in the middle of the night. NO ballots "just appeared".

It's just more extreme right-wing conspiracy theory trying to delegitimize our Democracy and instill distrust in our voting system. It's anti-American, and very dangerous.

Which VALID source did you read that?

Dumping, burning, changing votes, deceased ballots, all out there.

Observers are not allowed to be by tables, binoculars being taken away. Observers ARE allowed in many states. Why can't people observe then? Again, you don't find that odd and shady?

https://www.thatsnonsense.com/did-joe-biden-receive-100-of-a-mail-in-ballot-dump-in-michigan-fact-check/

I can give hundreds more. Your ONLY source was a tweet that was since deleted.....

Isn't that odd and shady?....

The ballot burning thing is also debunked....
https://www.cnn.com/2020/11/04/business/ballot-burning-fake-video/index.html

Again, a GOP conspiracy theory.... isn't that odd and shady...

Weird pattern here. All of the "odd and shady" stuff "going on" is extreme right-wing anti-American anti-Democracy conspiracy theories that are easily debunked....

These are biased sites.

And you posted an IG account. What’s your point? Why are you even back under a new name? Now that’s shady!

Not to mention redstate.com from one of her earlier posts.

There's no point in even engaging.

You are smarter than that Chat Icon

I have no issue with an woman POTUS also, not her and not the way they are getting her in just to get a woman in.
