Where can you throw away Grass Clippings in the Town of Islip or Town of Oyster Bay?

I didn't know that the garbage men didn't take grass clippings Chat Icon Chat Icon Where can you go to throw them out in the Town of Islip or Town of Oyster Bay?

You can not throw away the grass clippings in the town iof Islip. There is a land fill by the ronkonkoma train station that you bring your grass clippings and leaves.
they are open m-sat until 2:45

Mulching is the best thing for your lawn anyway. And, it's less work when mowing, since you don't have to empty the bag.

I started mulching before I knew how good it was for the lawn, mainly because it makes cutting the grass so much faster and easier.

That's what I used to do but the cut grass ends up dying on the lawn and ruining my grass Chat Icon

I am Town of Oyster Bay and I put all the lawn, weeds, hedges, etc leaves out when I put my recycle bucket out.

They do not always take the first pass that day, but they usually come back with a different truck and collect.
