When your DC got a flu shot for the first time did your ped. have them try egg
first to make sure they werent allergic since the flu shot contains egg. A coworker of mine was surprised that they never told me to have my DD try egg first.

Yes, ped said to give DS a little bit of eggs before to make sure he didn't have a reaction to the shot.

DS just got his 1st flu shot yesterday and his pedi said "absolutely no egg" before he's 1. Hmmm...I hope she isn't wrong. I would hate for DS to have an allergic reaction.

my ped told us eggs were ok at 8 months... some of the meals contain eggs... the beechnut breakfasts stage 2 i believe.... she told us that if he was having table food like pancakes or pizza crusts he was already getting exposed to eggs anyways
