When signing a business email....
I use a few variations depending on what the purpose/audience of the communication. I use Thanks, Thank you, Many thanks, Cheers, or Kindly... I worked for a British company for a long while, hence the Many thanks and Cheers lol. It just stuck.

I have a signature that appears on every email.
Has name, position, address, phone etc.
I either put thank you or thanks depending on the email.
Off topic but I am not of fan of "please do the needful". Don't know why I am not a fan but I'm not

I don't usually attach a closing except for my standard signature block in the emails.
Business letters I always do "very truly yours" or "sincerely"

Usually Thank you, thanks, or regards depending on situation/receiver.
I CANNOT STAND BEST! I receive a number of emails signed like that. I first noticed it 2-3 years ago. It's like best what??? Finish your thought! Makes absolutely no sense.

because I mean it.
I appreciate all my clients. Plus even when I need to be pissy to my insurance carriers or whomever. I say thank you as a reminder to myself that I should be grateful for everyone's efforts.

Thank you again is whenever I have used thank you in the body of an email. So if you reply to my email with needed info like forms, data or the like. It goes like....
Thank you for sending the requested information, however I need xyz... or I received the attached information from your assistant, thank you. Please see the attached response as you requested.

I write "Thanks" or sometimes "Warm regards" when I'm really thanking someone or it's a little more personal in nature.
I work with someone that signs "Best" all the time and I don't get it either.
