When is everyone planning on taking maternity leave?
With DS I worked till the end...literally (I went in the Friday after Thanksgiving and gave birth on Monday). This time I was thinking of making my last day a week before my EDD. What is everyone else doing? I may just end up working till the bitter end

My plan was to work until the end (due 9/16) - I would go back to work on 9/8 (I'm a teacher) and work until  made his appearance, but my doc put me on bed rest, so I can't return to work. My maternity leave officially starts 9/8 and ends 12/1.

i have to work till the end - i don't get disability or paid maternity leave, just 12 weeks FMLA, and i'd rather save that time for when the baby is here.
if it wasn't for our mortgage i'd already be a SAHM

I'm going in hoping & thinking I'll be working until the end . I do have a bit of flexibility so at least I have that working for me.

I'm very fortunate that my company gives us off 4 weeks before our due date with pay. So basically the countdown has begun to that date!!!

same here...I think that I am just getting antsy!
I understand the antsiness. I am obsessing over the nursery and the rest of the house in preparation for the baby. I wish I could do more things for myself instead of having to rely on DH!

Same boat except I do get NY State Disability but that is not that much.

OMG me too...I am so anxious to get things done. DH is working really hard on things in the house but I wish that I could do more too

I'll be working till the very end. I'm only allowed to take off what NY is willing to pay me, which is only a very sad 6 weeks, so I def. want to spend that with baby rather then just my belly.
