When do you think you'll let the kids go out and play?
I'm waiting for the snow to actually stop coming down but my 4 year old has been asking to go out since 8am.  when's everyone else planning to let the kids to play?

Well my kid AKA DH just got suited up to go out and shovel.
DS is with my parents this week and I am about to call to check in to see how things are going.

I want to go out now. But at 10 degrees I keep talking myself out of it
thats my other issue! i keep hoping it gets warmer.

I plan to bring my 2.5 year old out around noon-1:00. Hopefully by then it will be a little warmer. We're also not going to be out for very long. She just wants to throw some snow.

We will try to go out for a bit after lunch, but it really depends on the temps. DH is at work so I need to bring my 9 month old out with us too, and it is just so frigid out there.

When do you think you'll let the kids go out and play?
I went outside in an attempt to go to work and it is FREEZING out! (6 degrees by me). I think we will all remain indoors in our PJs with the heat blasting today but I hate the cold!

i'm going to force SO and DS out at about noon to shovel. then i'll "accidentally" leave the door open so that the dog can get out... this way, they'll entertain her for a bit.
i will stay in my pajamas ALL DAY and i will cook, bake, knit. i will be a happy girl!

My DD and DH went out for about 10 minutes. She threw some snow, made a snow angel and came in. We will go back out later to make a snowman.

Probably after my 2 yr old naps. Around 1:30 - 2ish. Also, gotta make sure DH shovels the driveway first.

My DS is 2 and wants to go out and play but due to the temps I am not sure I am going to let him. TOmorrow is supposed to be warmer so it might just have to wait

Well, it's not so much that I won't let them. They would rather stay warm and dry inside. I won't fight them on that. Movies and hot chocolate today

I don't think I am going to bring DD (2.5) out today. Its really cold outside and the wind is really strong. I think we will wait until tomorrow when the temps are higher and the sun is out.

Its to cold for a child to go outside. I brought snow inside for my 2yo GD. I saw a news reporter teporting at Mineola train station and she couldnt even talk, her face frozed up.

My DD is out there now helping DH shovel. She couldn't wait to get out there and use her little kid shovel. She's loving it. I have her in like 50 layers, it's SO cold out. I won't let her stay out long but at least she will get it out of her system for the day.

I just brought a bowl of snow in the house and we made a mini-snowman in the bathtub
Maybe we will go outside later for a few minutes just for pictures.
