When do you mail your Christmas/Holiday Cards?
I've had them for 2 weeks now and plan to address them this week so they'll be ready to go...but I don't want to mail them about before the 2nd week in December...is that still too soon?
(My pregnancy hormones have had me over preparing/ preparing for things weeks early...)

I usually wait till the first week of Dec.
Somewhere in that week.

I mailed mine today as hanukkah starts on Wednesday. We received our first holiday card on Saturday.

Haven't even taken our picture yet! Not quite sure how to do it this year b/c my twins are not sitting (4 months old). DS 1 has had a cold for a month now so we just haven't had a good time to do it. Hoping to take pics in the next few weekends. As long as everyone gets the card by Xmas I'm happy. I can't worry about my Jewish relatives this year, Hanukah is way to early

haha me too. I swear I usually send them out the week before Christmas. I take my own pics of dd and I haven't taken any yet.

Every year I TRY not to do this, but most if the time it's how it goes.
SIL had hers done, addressed, ready to go out about a month ago. I am guessing she will send them out tomorrow or Friday the latest. She likes to be the first one.

Usually sometime during the second week of December. I usually put up my Christmas tree Thanksgiving weekend, and then I try to dress DS up and take his photo in front of the tree for use in the card. So by the time I do that and order them, I don't get them until December.
Then, DS's birthday is Dec. 6, so I am busy with that. I usually try to get them out b/w Dec. 6-10, so people get them in the Dec. 10-15 range, which I think is fine.

I know I'm strange, but I don't like receiving Christmas cards before Thanksgiving.
Friday is fine- but when I get one before Thanksgiving I get a little miffed.
I like to take one holiday at a time!

This year, I'm ready to mail ours 1st week of December. There was one year (when we didn't have kids yet) that I was able to get them out right after Thanksgiving. It has NEVER happened again. *lol After the kids, I get to mail them around the 19th or 20th. I have this thing that I must write something else in each of the cards aside from the usual Dear ___ and love, ___. That's what delays me. I also handwrite the recipient's mailing address (the return address is stamped, I've gotten smarter hahahah) . Still, no wonder it takes me ages to get done.
