What phone company do you use? (not cell phone)

Right now we only use our cell phones and have no land line. I'm trying to convince DH to get us a land line so that I dont have to use so many minutes (I work from home and the majority of my work is on the phones). What company do you use and how much (on avg) do you pay? I dont need long distance, just unlimited local. Thanks!

We use Verizon. I have a plan that costs $35.99 including long distance, caller ID and call waiting.

ETA: our bill is $50 a month - includes unlimited LD calls, caller ID, call waiting, etc

vonage... its $24.95 a month and includes everything. the bad thing about it is if the internet goes down, we have no phone.

triple paly here too with optionline. it also goes down if not eletric but then i have my cell to back me up. with vonage it is great but you have to connect to 911 a differant way. i pay 125.00 for all three, phone, cable and online

Verizon. We pay about $60 a month, but that includes our DSL line for the internet.

Optimum Voice -- I'm out of Triple Play now, but since I still have all 3 services it's only $14.95/month because they give you a $20 credit for keeping cable, voice and optimum online.

We use Optimum 3-1, same price every month.

I think its around 125ish.
