It depends - If someone is excited about something and I don't like it, I'm not going to post "OMG - you hair looks awesome, or I love your new car" or whatever .......I'm not going to say anything negative either, obviously and be a a$$hole - I WILL gush and tell someone that I love something if I genuinely do -
If someone is explicitly asking for advice, I'll give it - regardless of whether or not I agree or I think what I have to say is 'what the poster wants to hear' ........I try not to say things like "your DH is a morno, or you should ditch your BFF" .........a lot of times people are just venting, and it's fine for ME to say my DH is a jerk, but don't YOU say it !!

And if it's a post I find myself just  at , I don't usually don't respond at all

Straight shooter with some sense of tact - or at least I'd like to think I do.
When I'm thoroughly disgusted, I don't even bother. Some people just dont get it & I can't put the effort in.

I agree.....But I have a hard time typing out my thoughts in a coherent manner, though. I'll try to respond to something and it doesn't make any sense. Then I'll see someone else's response and it perfectly states what I was trying to say!
As far as being totally honest, no, I'm not. I steer clear of most types of confrontation and tend to keep my thoughts to myself for the most part.

I generally post what I feel. But I try to do it in a way that is considerate of others. If I really feel that someone would get genuinely hurt or offended I will not post for the general public... but I may send an FM.

i'm pretty real, the way that i am on the boards is the same way that i am in real life, but i also believe that if you have nothing nice to say, don't say at all unless is someone i truly care about.

I think it depends on the topic. If it's something I find important enough then I have no issues speaking my mind. If it's about something that I don't find to be important (to me) then I may not bother responding to the post.

My cubbyhole is honest, but reserved. For example, I respond with my truth but I try to phrase ideas and opinions respectfully and tastefully so that the recipient of the post can infer that I am not just trying to be a jerk
