What is your favorite time of day?

I was talking to hubby about this last night - I said I had 3 and they are now completely different from "pre-children".

1 - when I pick the kids up from pre-school......the smile on Ava's face when she sees me and runs out of the room to hug me. Then Ava & I go over to Jack's room and he runs out screaming "Avvvvaaaaaaa" and they both hug eachother. Seriously, its the cutest thing EVER.

2 - when hubby comes home from work. My house turns into a zoo. The kids are at the top of the stairs screaming DAAAAAAAAAADYYYYYYY and the dog is howling

3 - after 11:00 at night when its time for me to "go to work". I edit my photos, answer emails by myself and the house is nice & quiet and the dog is at my feet.

I love when I first come home from work, the boys are usually up from thier nap and run to the door to hug and kiss me.

I also like 9:00 because by then they are definitly in bed and I can relax and watch some TV, but prefer 5:30 over everything else.

Definitely when DH comes home. DD has some sort of radar so she waits at the front window and says "da da da da da" until he comes in the door and reaches for him. It melts me.

I guess after she goes to bed when I curl up with a cup of tea and try and unwind. I LOVE going to check on here while she is all scrunched up in the corner of the crib with her hiney in the air.

1) In the morning when Charlie will sit wit me on the couch and snuggle until breakfast.

2) at 10:30 when DH and Charlie are both in bed and I have time to myself!!

I love weekday mornings. I love waking up the llittle monsters and feeling their sleep warmed bodies curl up against me for morning snuggles and kisses. Then - just as they are getting awake enough to start complaining I run out the door to work.

I love Family Snuggle before bed. Everyone piles in our bed for a 15 minute cuddle and chat session. We play, joke, talk, tickle... it's fantastic. Then they are off to their own beds.

But my FAVORITE time? It's a tiny little slice of the day between the moment I walk in the door from work and the minute I start cooking or prepping supper. I have 2 little boys who fling themselves at me with bright, wide eyes and breathless words tumbling over each other. At that exact moment I am the ruler of the world. I know that there is nobody in the universe that is more loved than I am for those few minutes. And I eat it up.

During the week, I love to come home from work and be greeted by the fattest cheeks and the loveliest smile, followed by dinner waiting for me (DH cooks) after which we play, read books and then get DS ready for bath and bed. After I give DS his bottle, I love spending time with DH, catching up, watching TV, eating ice cream or massaging each other's feet!

During the weekend, all day, I just love spending time with DH and DS but I also love those long afternoon naps during which I nap myself and recharge.

between 7:30 and 8:30 am...Aly gets up and comes and snuggles with me in my bed for about an hour, drinks her milk and just chills with me. ahhh

5:30 walking in the door at day care to get my DS, and always greeted by a huge smile and open arms....love that hug!! OKay you are making me miss my lil man

It depends!

With DS: when he wakes up from his 1st nap. He is in the best mood, I am fully awake.

For me: 9pm when DS is in his crib and I get my me time with DH.

dinnertime.. it's the only time all of us are together for the most part.. and everyone talks to each other.

If I can get up early enough to enjoy my morning cup of coffee by myself. I love many things about Hailey during the day, but that is the only time I have peace and quiet until about 11 at night.

Besides their nap time

1. when my son says mamma mamma, i woke up and waits for me to come and get him in the morning

2.when my husband takes him out for alittle bit and i am not with them, he comes home running to me like i was missing for a year. He runs and gives me the biggest hug and kiss.

I like early morning right now (especially if it is a weekend) because DH comes home from work at 7:30am and DS and I are up and we all have breakfast together, it is the only time of day we get to really spend together

I like evenings too b/c Christopher and I get to play and hang out together too.

Mine is when I give DD her last bottle (yes, BOTTLE) of MILK and sing to her as we rock in the glider. She falls asleep in my arms and my heart nearly bursts.

1. When I go in to get DS. He's standing in his crib and I get a big "Hiiiiiii".
If DH is getting him, I love hearing it through the monitor.

2. He's been into playing with cars recently. We sit/lay together and "drive". OR when he just sits in my lap for a story.

3. Bathtime..he LOVES it! He loves to "Splash Splash". Then I put him in his soft comfy PJs and the 3 of us (me, dh and ds) do "Family Hug" and Dh and I put DS down for his bed time.

In the morning when DS wakes up and smiles at me when he sees me...

At lunch when I go to see him for an hour at Daycare...

When I pick him up from daycare and again I get that happy mommy's here to take me home smile!!!!

My favorite time of day is in the mornings. DD takes her bottle in bed with me, and we cuddle for a while.

I also love night time when DH and I put her to bed. We sing a song and say a prayer, and she says "Amen" Its the cutest thing ever.

I can't believe I'm saying this- morning! DS is happy and well rested and I love interacting with him.

I also love daycare pick-up when he runs to me with that smile on his face

Evenings - after dinner and bath, he is a lunatic! He runs around the house and does so many silly things. He is the funniest little person.... Then he gets sleepy, sits next to me on the couch and we read a book and chat about the pictures. He jabbers and jabbers, and has so much to say as he points to the pics, and I just say, "Uh HUH!" Because I can't understand him... Then he lays in my arms like a baby as he drinks his milk....

I love when DD first wakes up in the morning (usually around 7am) and she's just so happy and smiling and giggling.

I also love when its ready for bedtime, I feed her, read to her, hold her and put her down to sleep.

1. When I enter DS's room at daycare at night and he comes running to me. Better yet when he is down the hall and sees me and comes running.

2. Bedtime - when we cuddle up and read a story together - he's the best page turner I ever met.

3. 8:30 pm when it's just me and DH - that's when we finally get to talk and hang out alone.

First thing in the morning, when I wake him up, and the time we spend snuggling while drinking our tea (his milk)

Bedtime, its crazy, and funny, and lovely, and after that, he goes to sleep, off to start another day! I love it!

Cuddling with them when they wake up - preparing breakfast and then playing with them on the floor after breakfast.
