-a down vest (she requested)
-a pair of knit slippers
-gourmet coffee
Stepmom (doesn't live in NY but it's her favorite place to visit):
-a book on secrets of NY (aimed for the experienced tourist)
-a cookbook from the Magnolia Bakery
-a NYC holiday mug from Starbucks
Mom:
- no clue what to get her but she and my aunt are coming out later this month for the first time so we might treat them to theatre tickets

I'm another on with a mom with a December birthday. We got her a GC to Macy's, and an assortment of chcocolate from Lindt- from my brother, DhH& I
.
Now for Christmas, I have no idea. All my brother could come up with was oven mitts!
She doesn't want clothes, b/c she doesn't work, so she feels she doesn't need to get dressed up anymore, same with jewellery, she uses her perfume a lot less often, she doesn't use fancy bags, doesn't really listen to music. . .
Spa treatments : )
She'd never go! I think she's only had a manicure twice!

thanks for all the suggestions...
my brother is already getting her a gift certificate to TKTS so that rules out theatre tickets, but she likes the movies so I may get her a gc for a movie theatre...
Also, I am going to look into the family tree with the pictures, except it might bring up a discussion of why she isn't a grandmother yet

My parents are going to Aruba next month so we all chipped in and got them gift certificates to El Gaucho and the hotel they are staying at.
Also, me and DH picked my mom up a necklace that is a heart with mother of pearls in it for each of her children.

I need something else, but she is so hard and doesn't want anything. My dad gave me a list of stores to get GC's and the US Quarters she still needs for her collection.... thanks dad

My Mother has instructed all of us to stop buying her "stuff". So I'm giving her a g/c to one of her favorite stores. My sister's gift is her ticket to Disney next year so hopefully she'll buy clothes with her g/c for her trip

My mom's really hard to shop for and I'm  for every Christmas, birthday, Mother's Day.
She's a big "Dancing w/the Stars" fan, so I got us tickets to see the show in Feb at the Coliseum.

I got her a sweater set, a bottle of CK Eternity Moment and a year's subscription to "Star" Magazine. She loves gossip mags
My sister and myself also bought my Mom and Dad a GC for Marriott for when they visit us in a few months. They want to go to Boston, so it will cover their hotel for 2 nights.
