What is everyone getting their moms for christmas?
I need suggestions....she is the only person I have left to buy for.
Today is her bday and I bought her clothes, but I have nothing for her for Christmas...

I bought my Mom 2 gorgeous sweaters and another winter-y top. my mom is VERY hard to shop for.
how about a gift card to her favorite store or a day at the spa?

So far I've gotten my mom a Beatles Book she has wanted and a Paul McCartney Music DVD. I still have to get her more --- who knows what!

My mom's birthday is Dec 27th-- so I always get her a couple of things for both..
I got her GC to Sur La Table
A necklace-- which after I received in the mail-- I didn't love
And a beautiful evening scarf-- she loves this kind of stuff

I got one of those for my mom too, from Red Envelope.
I need to check out Red Envelope, I keep hearing about it.
I got mine from Things Remembered. The top oval is engraved with "Mom and Dad / Nanny and Papa / Christmas 2006"
I've been planning this for a while. I took pictures of everyone on Thansgiving, cropped and resized them, put them on a contact sheet, had them printed. Now I just need to cut them and put them in the ovals.
My parents aren't complicated people to buy for. What they want most of all is time with their family. And to brag about them to their friends.
Between this and the photo album/scrapbook that I'm making for them, they should be sufficiently impressed.

My mom ALWAYS has a list.....you would think at 78 you would HAVE everything you want!! We are getting her a CD player.
Sometimes I resort to restaurant gift cards.
ETA -- Some of you ladeis really go all out!! We are 6 kids so we keep it pretty economical.

I'm another on with a mom with a December birthday. We got her a GC to Macy's, and an assortment of chcocolate from Lindt- from my brother, DhH& I

Now for Christmas, I have no idea. All my brother could come up with was oven mitts!
She doesn't want clothes, b/c she doesn't work, so she feels she doesn't need to get dressed up anymore, same with jewellery, she uses her perfume a lot less often, she doesn't use fancy bags, doesn't really listen to music. . .

* And the 1 and only thing she asked for...and took me 3 MONTHS  was to organize all her 58 years worth of pictures into photo boxes!!! Took FOREVER but they came out great and I know she'll love it!

We're not spending a lot on gifts this year. I got got her a frame and put pictures of the kids in it. It's a triple frame; Kaylee on one side, Christopher on the other, and a picture of both of them in the middle.
