I know my Dr. said Tylenol cold and benadryl are ok. but I still feel bad about taking something. I'm 9w5d. Am I just being paranoid?

I was living on Robitussin last week, but I know some doctors are finikey about what you can/can't take during the first trimester. I'd stick it out until the AM and call and ask your OB!
Feel better!

Re: what do you take when you have a bad cold
I was taking regular Tylenol to help with my swollen sinuses and sore throat. It sort of helped, but really I wanted something way stronger than that!
Feel better!

Re: what do you take when you have a bad cold
I took Tylenol & regular Robitussin when I was 15 or 16 weeks. Doc said both were fine. If you are that concerned (even after speaking w/ the doc), go to the local drugstore (CVS, Rite Aid, whatever) & ask the pharmacist. In my experience, that's the person who gave the most time & explanation of each of the drugs' effect on the baby, & even walked me to the product that they suggested.
